Best Song Ever, Episode 93

Posted on May 3, 2019May 29, 2020

Hosted by Brian & Luke LaBenne

This week the theme of our songs is SOUL. We talk about souls getting crushed, f*cked, and repaired. We have a new edition of THOR TALK, it’s the AVENGERS ENDGAME edition where Luke does a failed attempt at spoiling the movie, the guys talk about Norse Mythology, and they argue over whether or not the new Game of Thrones episode was too dark. They play a song that was featured in the HBO Docuseries On Tour with Asperger’s Are Us, and Luke tells Brian about how much he loves the show. They talk about breakups, depression, and digging yourself out of that hole and Luke tells a story about Brian humiliating him on facebook. All while playing the best playlist of songs you’ll hear all week!

Songs played in this episode:

Wilder Woods – Sure Ain’t out now on Atlantic Records

Grace Ives – Anything from 2nd out now on Dots Per Inch Music

Noah Britton, Request Freebird – I Don’t Wanna Ever Stop Singing Loud from Why Would Someone Make An Album? out now on [bandcamp]

Mannequin Pussy – Drunk II from Patience out June 21st on Epitaph

Fruit Bats – The Bottom of It from Gold Past Life out June 21st on Merge
